Does anyone (Sara?)know anything about fractals. I watched Nova on channel 18 last night and lost a lot of sleep thinking about them. So much so that I emailed a math professor I know and asked questions and gave my thoughts. I hope that is the end of it and I get some sleep tonight.

There's a really great book called Chaos by James Gleick you might enjoy reading. As well, you might check out this wiki site about chaos theory.

i think i have a book about beauty in math that covers fractals. and it sucks not getting sleep over math. i was that way with fibonacci in nature, and with my 'discovery' of subatomic particles, not to mention super simple stuff like newtons laws, lol.
